Automatic Drive Mode Selection

If the vehicle was set to Off Road 1 or Off Road 2 before shutdown, the same setting is restored on ignition. Otherwise, the vehicle defaults to Normal ride height.

Manual (M) Drive Mode

Manual mode allows full driver interaction with gear shifting and improves engine braking and performance.

  • Shift lever can be moved forward (-) or backward (+) step-by-step.
  • Gear selection is displayed beside the “M” indicator.
  • Steering wheel paddles can be used for gear changes.
Manual Mode Behavior
  • Transmission remains in selected gear unless manually changed.
  • Automatic upshift occurs at maximum engine speed (except SPORT mode).
  • Transmission downshifts automatically when vehicle slows.
  • Vehicle may start in second gear when stationary using paddle shift.

Gear Shift Indicator

The gear indicator recommends optimal shift timing for improved fuel economy. The indicator lights before a required shift and turns off after gear engagement.

Gearshift indicator operates only when Manual mode is active.

I.C.E Mode with ESC Exclusion

This mode improves traction in low-grip conditions such as snow, mud, or sand. Press and hold the button for two seconds to disable stability control.

Setting Ride Height

The pneumatic suspension automatically levels the vehicle and allows ride height adjustment using the selector.

  • Six selectable ride heights.
  • LED indicators confirm the selected height.
  • Status visible on instrument cluster.
Ride Height Change Requirements
  • Engine running
  • Speed below preset limits
  • Doors closed (for lowering)
Temporary Restrictions
  • High speed
  • Suspension overheating
  • Open doors or liftgate
  • Low battery

Ride Height Positions

  • Normal: Standard ground clearance for daily driving.
  • Off Road 1: Raises vehicle ~25 mm for off-road driving.
  • Off Road 2: Raises vehicle ~40 mm for maximum clearance.
  • Aero 1: Lowers vehicle ~20 mm for improved aerodynamics.
  • Aero 2: Lowers vehicle ~35 mm for high-speed performance.
  • Entry/Exit: Lowers vehicle ~45 mm for easier entry and cargo loading.

Ride Height Automatic Behavior

  • Speed thresholds may automatically raise or lower the vehicle.
  • Entry/Exit height activates below low speeds.
  • Off-road heights revert to normal if speed limits are exceeded.

Lowering After Inactivity

After prolonged inactivity, suspension pressure may drop slightly causing vehicle lowering. Starting the engine restores normal height.

Do not drive until the vehicle reaches the set ride height after long inactivity.

Off-Road Drive Mode

The Off-Road mode optimizes ride height, transmission behavior, and suspension settings for rough terrain.

  • Automatically sets Off Road 1 height.
  • Off Road 2 can be manually selected.
  • Mode automatically disengages above 90 km/h.
