Automatic illumination of headlamps:
Press the control up or down to flash the corresponding direction indicator three times:
Check by means of the indicator lamps in the instrument panel as described in chapter 3.
Selection is made by turning the ring.
On switching off the ignition, all lamps turn off except dipped beam if automatic guide-me-home lighting is active. Turning the ring to "0" then selecting a mode activates lighting control. Audible warning occurs when opening the driver's door if lighting is left on.
They operate with sidelamps and dipped beam. Switch off by rotating the ring rearwards twice. In foggy or snowy conditions, manually switch on dipped beams if necessary. Do not cover the sunshine sensor on the windscreen.
Activation: Turn the ring to AUTO; the sidelamps and dipped beams switch on automatically in poor light or with wipers operating. Economy mode may engage after 30 minutes of inactivity; sidelamps are not affected.
Deactivation: Turn ring forwards or rearwards. Manual stalk usage temporarily deactivates the function.
Temporarily keeps dipped beams on with ignition off. Manual operation: "flash" headlamps within 1 minute after ignition off. Automatic operation: activate via vehicle configuration menu.
Uses front foglamp to illuminate bends below 25 mph (40 km/h). Activated by direction indicator or steering wheel rotation. System deactivates at higher speeds, low angles, or when reverse gear is engaged. Can be toggled in vehicle configuration menu.
If driving on the opposite side of the road, adjust headlamps to avoid dazzling oncoming drivers. Contact a CITROËN dealer or qualified workshop.
Intermittent speed proportional to vehicle speed. Manual wiping required if ignition off >1 minute.
Do not cover the rain sensor. Activation: press stalk downwards. Deactivation: move stalk to I, 1, or 2. AUTO mode adapts speed to rainfall intensity. Switch off ignition during automatic car wash to avoid triggering. Wait for ice to clear in winter before activating.
Pull the stalk towards you; timed sweep of wipers occurs. Headlamp wash triggers if dipped beams are on. Rear screenwash and wiper operate by turning the ring past first position. Clear snow/ice from rear wiper before use. Top up levels as per chapter 7.
Refer to "Changing a windscreen wiper blade" in chapter 8. Park wipers normally by switching on ignition and moving stalk, then turn ring to first position.
Within one minute after ignition off, any stalk action positions wipers against windscreen uprights for winter parking, cleaning, or replacement.
