Using Automatic Heating

The automatic heating system maintains the interior temperature you select. It automatically adjusts the mix of heated or cooled air to reach your preferred temperature quickly. Use the system when the engine is running.

  1. Press the AUTO button.
  2. Adjust the interior temperature using the temperature control dial.
  3. Press the On/Off button to cancel.

If any buttons are pressed while in AUTO mode, the function of the pressed button takes priority. The AUTO indicator will turn off, but other system functions continue automatically. The fan may not start immediately to prevent cold air from blowing in. Setting the temperature to the lower or upper limit displays Lo or Hi.
