  • Do not charge the battery at temperatures above 45 °C (113 °F).
  • Do not charge the battery if the headphones are defective or damaged.

Caution

Do not store the headphones in heat or direct sunlight. This could damage the headphones and repairs would not be covered by the vehicle warranty. Storage in extreme cold can weaken the batteries. Keep the headphones stored in a cool, dry place.

Batteries in this product should not be disposed of with household waste. Batteries should be recycled at an appropriate facility. Contact local authorities for details on recycling.

Headphone Controls

The RSI includes two Bluetooth wireless headphones used to listen to multimedia. The headphones have a power button, channel select button, and volume control.

Using the Bluetooth Wireless Headphones

  • Press the POWER button for one second to turn the headphones on.
  • While powered off, press and hold the power button for two seconds to enter pairing mode. The headphone name will appear as “GM RSI BT HP”.
  • To power off, press and hold the power button for two seconds.

Pairing to RSI Screen

Only two headphones can be active per RSI screen.

  1. Touch the Headphone icon on the desired rear screen home page.
  2. Select Add New Headphones.
  3. Ensure the headphones are in pairing mode.
  4. Select the headphone from the Available Headphones list.
  5. Touch OK when Pairing Successful appears.

Voice Over

If equipped, Voice Over provides audible feedback for visually and hearing-impaired users. It announces buttons, screen areas, metadata, and pop-ups.

To turn Voice Over on or off, touch *, toggle the option, and press OK. Voice Over turns off when the vehicle is turned off.

Reset Rear Media

Select to reset apps and log out users.

Rear Consumer Ports (RCP)

If equipped with RSI, the RCP are located at the rear of the center console and include:

  • Two HDMI ports
  • Two USB-C charge-only ports

HDMI

HDMI allows connection of devices such as camcorders, game systems, or Apple devices. Apple devices require an Apple cable.

Content from HDMI ports is not accessible through the infotainment display.

Using HDMI Input
  1. Connect the device using an HDMI cable.
  2. Power on the device and RSI screen.
  3. Select HDMI as the source from the Home screen.

HDMI Playing View

  • Home – Return to RSI Home screen.
  • Headphones – Access Bluetooth setup.
  • Share – Share content to the other rear screen.
