Folding Mirrors

Power Folding Mirrors

If equipped, press g to power fold the mirrors. Press g again to unfold. The outside mirrors may automatically unfold when the vehicle is driven above 20 km/h (12 mph), but may be folded with the power folding mirror switch. Above 40 km/h (25 mph), they may automatically unfold and may not be refolded using the switch.

Resetting the Power Folding Mirrors

Reset the mirrors if:

  • Mirrors are obstructed while folding
  • Mirrors are manually folded/unfolded accidentally
  • Mirrors do not stay in the unfolded position
  • Mirrors vibrate at normal driving speeds

Fold and unfold the mirrors once using the controls to reset. A normal noise may occur during resetting.

Remote Mirror Folding

If equipped with power folding mirrors, the mirrors may fold/unfold automatically:

  1. If doors are locked via H on the remote key, mirrors fold; if unlocked via I, mirrors unfold.
  2. If doors are locked/unlocked using the door handle button, mirrors fold/unfold accordingly.
  3. If passive locking is enabled, mirrors fold when doors lock via that feature.

This feature can be turned on/off through vehicle personalization. See Vehicle Personalization 0.

Heated Mirrors

The rear window defogger also heats outside mirrors. Press K to heat the mirrors. See “Rear Window Defogger” under Dual Automatic Climate Control System 0 221.

Automatic Dimming Mirror

If equipped, driver outside mirror automatically adjusts for glare from headlamps behind. Active when vehicle starts.

Reverse Tilt Mirrors

If equipped with memory seats, mirrors tilt to a preselected position when in R (Reverse) for curb visibility. Mirrors may move if:

  • Vehicle shifted out of R
  • Vehicle remains in R > 30 sec
  • Vehicle is turned off
  • Vehicle driven in R above a set speed

Enable/disable via Vehicle Personalization 0 140.

Interior Mirrors

Interior Rearview Mirrors

Adjust for a clear view behind. Do not spray glass cleaner directly; use a damp soft towel.

Automatic Dimming Rearview Mirror

Automatically dims to reduce glare from headlamps behind. Active when vehicle starts.

Rear Camera Mirror

If equipped, provides a wide-angle camera view. Pull tab to turn on display, push tab to turn off. Mirror dims automatically when off.

Warning: Rear Camera Mirror has limited view. Portions of road, vehicles, and objects may not be seen. Do not drive or park using only this camera. Objects may appear closer than they are.

Troubleshooting: See dealer if blue screen and 3 appear or display shuts off. Check for glare, dirt, snow, or camera damage.

Windows

Warning: Never leave a child, helpless adult, or pet alone in a vehicle, especially with windows closed in warm/hot weather. Can cause heatstroke or death.

Rear window down with front windows up may create pulsing sound. Open a front window or sunroof to reduce noise.
