Blind Spot Mirror Operation

  1. When a vehicle is far away, its image appears small and near the inboard edge.
  2. As the vehicle gets closer, the image becomes larger and moves outward.
  3. As the vehicle enters the blind zone, the image transitions to the blind spot mirror.
  4. When fully in the blind zone, the image appears only in the blind spot mirror.
Using the Outside Mirror with the Blind Spot Mirror
  1. Set the main mirror so the side of the vehicle is just visible and the blind spot mirror is unobstructed.
  2. Check the main mirror for adjacent traffic, then the blind spot mirror, and finally glance over your shoulder before changing lanes.

Reverse Tilt Mirrors

If equipped with reverse tilt mirrors and memory seats, the driver and/or passenger mirror tilts when the vehicle is shifted into R (Reverse) to help view the curb while parking.

The mirror may return to normal when:

  • The vehicle is shifted out of Reverse or remains in Reverse for about 30 seconds.
  • The vehicle is turned off.
  • The vehicle exceeds a set speed while in Reverse.

Interior Mirrors

Interior Rearview Mirror

Adjust the mirror for a clear view behind the vehicle. Do not spray glass cleaner directly on the mirror; use a soft, damp cloth.

Manual Rearview Mirror

If equipped, push the tab forward for daytime use and pull it rearward for nighttime use to reduce glare.

Automatic Dimming Rearview Mirror

If equipped, the mirror automatically reduces glare from headlamps behind the vehicle and activates each time the vehicle is started.

Rear Camera Mirror
The Rear Camera Mirror has a limited view. Do not rely solely on this camera when driving or parking. Always check mirrors and look over your shoulder.

The rear camera mirror may not work properly if there is glare, debris on the camera lens, or if the camera mounting has been damaged.

Truck Bed Camera Rearview Mirror

If equipped, this mirror provides a video view of the truck bed to assist with checking cargo or aligning a trailer.

  • Press the button once to activate the display.
  • Press again to zoom the view.
  • Press a third time to turn off the display.

Guidelines can be adjusted and stored to assist with trailer alignment.

Windows

Never leave a child, helpless adult, or pet alone in a vehicle, especially with the windows closed in hot weather. Extreme heat can cause serious injury or death.
