Climate Control Systems

The heating, cooling, and ventilation in the vehicle can be controlled with this system.

Controls

1. Fan Control
2. MAX Defrost
3. Air Delivery Mode Controls
4. A/C (Air Conditioning)
5. TEMP (Temperature Control)
6. Recirculation
7. Rear Window Defogger (If Equipped) or Heated Mirrors (If Equipped)

Fan and Temperature Control

Fan: Turn clockwise or counterclockwise to increase/decrease fan speed. Turn fully counterclockwise to turn the fan off.

TEMP: Turn clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust the vehicle temperature.

Air Delivery Mode Controls

Press z, Y, or [ to change the airflow direction. Any combination can be selected. An indicator light comes on in the selected mode button.

• z: Air directed to windshield, outboard a/c outlets, and side window outlets.
• Y: Air directed to a/c outlets.
• [: Air directed to floor outlets, some air to windshield and side windows.
• MAX: Air directed to windshield at higher fan speed to clear fog/frost quickly.

Recirculation (@)

Press to turn on recirculation. Air is recirculated to cool the interior quickly and reduce outside odors. Avoid long use in cold or damp conditions to prevent window fogging.

A/C

Press to turn air conditioning on/off. A light indicates when enabled. A/C will not run if fan is off. Light stays on even if outside temperatures are below freezing.

Rear Window Defogger / Heated Mirrors

Press to turn rear window defogger on/off. Only works when engine is running. If equipped, heated outside mirrors can also be turned on/off.

Climate Control Display

The fan, air delivery mode, air conditioning, driver and passenger temperatures, and SYNC settings can be controlled via the CLIMATE button on the infotainment Home Page or climate display tray.

Automatic Operation

The system automatically controls fan speed, air delivery, air conditioning, and recirculation to reach the desired temperature. Press AUTO to enable. Manual adjustments can override AUTO settings.
