The maintenance system indicates required maintenance measures, supporting road safety and operational reliability. Scopes and intervals may vary according to country-specific versions. Replacement work, spare parts, fuels, lubricants, and wear materials are calculated separately. Additional information is available from the service center.
Sensors and special algorithms consider the driving conditions of your vehicle. Condition Based Service recognizes maintenance requirements and adapts them to your user profile. Detailed information on service requirements can be displayed on the Control Display.
Information on required maintenance is continuously stored in the remote control. Your service center will read this data and suggest appropriate service procedures. Always provide the service specialist with the remote control used for the vehicle most recently.
Storage periods during which the vehicle battery was disconnected are not considered. If this occurs, have a service center update time-dependent maintenance procedures, such as checking brake fluid, and, if needed, changing the engine oil and microfilter/activated-charcoal filter.
Please consult the Service and Warranty Information Booklet (US models) or the Warranty and Service Guide Booklet (Canadian models) for additional information on service requirements. Maintenance and repair should be performed by your service center. Make sure to record all regular maintenance procedures in these booklets as proof of regular maintenance.
There is an OBD socket on the driver's side for checking primary components in the vehicle's emissions system.
