Safety Information
This system is designed to support safe and pleasant driving. It is not a substitute for safe, proper, and legal driving. Information and services may not always be up-to-date.
Warning
- Park the vehicle and set the parking brake before operating the system. Operating while driving may distract you and cause serious accidents.
- Keep your eyes on the road; inattentive use may lead to serious injury or death.
- Do not rely solely on route guidance; ensure all maneuvers are legal and safe.
- Do not disassemble or modify the system; it may result in accidents, fire, or electrical shock.
- If foreign objects, liquids, smoke, or unusual smells are noticed, stop using the system and contact a NISSAN dealer or qualified workshop.
Caution
- Use video screens only where legal.
- Extreme temperatures (below −20°C/−4°F or above 70°C/158°F) may affect performance.
- Do not hit the display screen with hard or sharp objects. Broken screens may cause injury.
Note
- Do not keep the system running with the engine off; it may discharge the vehicle battery.
- Models with Nissan Connect Services: registration may be required and services may not be available in all regions.
Hands-Free Telephone Control
Warning:
- Use a phone only after stopping the vehicle in a safe location. Extreme caution is required if used while driving.
- If you cannot devote full attention to driving, pull off to a safe location before using the phone.
Caution: To avoid draining the battery, use the phone only after starting the engine.
Hands-Free Text Messaging Assistant
Warning:
- Use text messaging only after parking in a safe location. Do not use while driving unless it is legal and safe.
- Check local laws regarding Text-to-Speech and other messaging applications, including social networking and texting features.
- If full attention cannot be given to driving, pull off the road before using the feature.
Caution: This feature may be disabled if the connected device does not support it. See the phone’s owner manual for details.
Liquid Crystal Display
The display is a liquid crystal display and should be handled with care.
