Audio Operation Precautions

Do not adjust the audio system while driving. The audio system operates when the ignition is ON. Do not use for an extended period with the engine stopped.

Note: Models with navigation system: see the navigation system owner's manual for specific audio precautions.

Radio

• Reception is affected by station signal strength, distance from transmitter, and external obstacles (buildings, bridges, mountains).

• Using a mobile phone in or near the vehicle may influence reception.

• Use the antenna for best reception.

USB (Universal Serial Bus) Connection Ports

• Do not connect, disconnect, or operate the USB device while driving; distraction could cause loss of control.

• Do not force the USB device into the port; ensure proper orientation. Some devices have a guide mark.

• Do not grab the USB port cover when removing a device; this may damage the port.

• The system does not format USB devices; use a personal computer if needed.

• Some devices may not be fully supported; partitioned devices or non-English characters may display incorrectly.

MP3/WMA (Where Fitted)

• Playback order follows how files were written by software; top-level files are shown as FOLDER.

• Folders without MP3/WMA files are not displayed.

Rear USB Power Ports (Where Fitted)

• Ports are for power supply only; they do not support data transfer.

• Maximum output current: 3.0A per port. Actual current depends on connected device and protocol.

Bluetooth® Audio Player (Where Fitted)

• Some Bluetooth® devices may not be compatible. Contact a NISSAN dealer for details.

• Initial registration of the audio device is required.

• Playback may pause while using a hands-free phone or checking connection with a mobile phone.

• Avoid placing Bluetooth® devices in areas surrounded by metal or narrow spaces near the vehicle system to prevent interference.

General Notes for USB/iPod Use

• Use English characters for file names to avoid display issues.

• “Made for iPod/iPhone/iPad” accessories are certified for Apple devices. Improper connection may cause malfunctions.

• Large video files may cause temporary display blackout on the vehicle’s center screen; it will recover automatically.

• iPod nano (1st and 2nd Generation) may remain in fast-forward or rewind if disconnected during a seek operation. Manually reset if necessary.

• Audiobooks may not play in the same order as displayed on an iPod.
